Tournament Hosting

Teams wishing to host a tournament (3 or more teams playing together) must obtain approval from the NEWCRC.

Effective October 1, 2013, all tournaments must be sanctioned by USA Rugby in order to be eligible for referee assignments from NERRS.   http://www.usarugby.org/event-sanctioning

Download the Tournament Application Form, fill it out, and then email it to the NEWCRC President for approval.  Please note that approval takes between 1 – 3 weeks and approval is required before referees will be assigned.  For help filling out the Medical Plan portion of the application, you can download a sample medical plan.

At present, there are no fees for tournament approvals.  Once your tournament is approved, the Referee Director will be notified and you will coordinate with them to obtain your tournament referees.
